The National Blues Museum showcases a contemporary exhibit with many digital interactives, rather than your traditional object-centered history museum. Visitors learn about the Blues’ rich history and explore aspects of Blues music that many people may not know through songs, film, pictures, objects, and digital interactives. The design and development of the Museum from sketches to 3D renditions was a five-year journey.
As you may be able to tell, the Museum’s development underwent several changes throughout this process. While designing the exhibits, our team considered several factors:
- how every visitor would interact with the exhibit
- how the layout would act as a guide to the visitor
- which aesthetics were most appealing yet relevant to the materials
