June 11, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Free
Blues on the Block is a FREE outdoor concert experience produced by the National Blues Museum featuring two acts a night. Located at 6th Street and Washington Ave (across from the National Blues Museum), concert-goers will experience the best blues, soul, and r&b in St. Louis. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and snacks and enjoy the show!
While outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed, a bar will be available to purchase drinks. Chairs will also be available to rent this year.
Special thanks to Ameren Corporation, the Regional Arts Commission, Caleres Cares, and Greater St. Louis for their contributions.
The Department Co. is an art project by Jenny Murphy that explores new and alternative possibilities for commerce and community in Downtown through several illustrative window murals and virtual and in-person community engagement. Jenny will be activating the Dept. Co on June 11th by leading craft activities where you can reuse commonly found materials to make functional goods! Create simple stationery or a self-watering planter while you enjoy the festivities of Blues on the Block.
The National Blues Museum is a 501c3 Non-Profit Institution.
